This song; the vibe and heaviness of the track, it’s movement and layers and especially the live clarinet and guitar recordings were an attempt to cultivate my feelings about everything that has been going on in the world recently. My feelings in this song specifically reflect the current state of our world in regards to the systemic racism and police brutality. I support the black community and hope this track can raise awareness to support the cause, to support the movement of equality and justice. Black lives matter. Black lives more than matter, mattering is just the bare minimum.
